Bayview Rehabilitation at Scalabrini is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our resident-centered team in Rhode Island. You will provide hands-on care under licensed staff supervision, assisting with activities of daily living and ensuring safety and comfort for residents.

The role requires an active RI CNA license, current BLS/CPR certification, and strong communication. We value teamwork and a calm, patient approach in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide basic resident care under supervision of licensed nursing staff.

• Maintain a clean, safe environment promoting dignity and well-being.

Responsibilities for CNAs:

• Provide basic resident care under the direction and supervision of licensed nursing staff in a safe, compassionate, and respectful manner.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility assistance, and changing linens.
• Provide supportive care and services to ensure residents’ physical, emotional, and daily living needs are consistently met.
• Observe residents and report changes in condition, behavior, or needs to nursing staff in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment that promotes dignity and well‑being for all residents.
• Support nursing staff and the care team in delivering high‑quality, resident‑centered care.

Qualifications for CNAs:

• Must hold a current, active, and unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of employment.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification required.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple residents in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented healthcare environment.
• Demonstrated compassion, patience, and commitment to providing high‑quality resident care.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions accurately and consistently.
