Holliswood Center is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) in Hollis, NY. Earn $24.65/hour with a 10% shift differential. Daily Pay available through a third-party provider. Immediate hire straight to the Union.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a CNA program.
• Current CNA State Certification.
• Must be in good standing with State Registry.

Responsibilities

• Observe Residents and report health issues to supervising nurse.
• Assist with residents’ personal hygiene (bed bath, shaving, etc.).
• Set up meal trays and document intake of food and fluids.
• Feed residents and provide nutritional supplements as needed.
• Make beds and keep residents’ spaces clean and tidy.
• Transport residents within the facility.
• Turn bedridden residents to prevent bedsores.
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident and facility data.

• Observing Residents


• Reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse


• Taking care of a Resident’s personal hygiene, including bed bath, shaving, etc.


• Setting up of meal trays, and documenting food/fluid intake


• Feeding Residents & serving nutritional supplements


• Making beds & keeping the Residents’ space clean and tidy


• Transporting Residents within the Facility


• Turning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores


• Maintaining Confidentiality of all Resident & Facility data

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to work as a team member


• Successful completion of a CNA program


• Current CNA State Certification


• Must be in good standing with State Registry
