Job summary

Life Care Centers of America in Indiana is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our interdisciplinary team. The CNA provides routine daily nursing care to assigned patients, including bathing, feeding, grooming, and toileting, in accordance with laws and Life Care standards.

Qualified applicants will have a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of a State-approved CNA program, an active license, CPR certification, and ideally one year of skilled nursing experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a State-approved CNA program.
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable State with an active license.
• One year skilled nursing experience preferred.
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation and kept current.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care to assigned patients (bathing, feeding, grooming, toileting, etc.).
• Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.

Education, Experience, And Licensure Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of a State-approved CNA program
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
• One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred
• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
