Heritage Care & Rehabilitation Center in Mason City, IA is seeking a qualified Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a 3rd shift part-time role. You will provide daily living assistance, observe residents for changes in condition, and help maintain a safe, caring environment.

As a CNA, you will deliver compassionate care, follow care plans, and communicate clearly with team members to ensure high-quality resident outcomes. The position offers supportive teamwork and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered Iowa CNA certificate required.
• Frontline role in clinical care and activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Ability to work 3rd shift in a part-time capacity.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Observe residents for changes in condition and report them to the nursing team.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment to support resident well-being.
• Document care provided and coordinate with other staff per care plans.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Iowa Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA certificate, or certificate of completion from a State of Iowa Accredited Certified Nursing Assistant, Prior Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA experience is preferable.

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA. you are the front line of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Heritage Care & Rehabilitation Center by performing Activities of Daily Living, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining education. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.
