Job summary

Breezy Hills Rehabilitation and Care Center in Lakeland, FL is looking for compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our care team. We offer competitive pay ($17–$19/hour) based on experience, plus medical and dental insurance, a 401(k), paid time off, holidays, and opportunities for career growth.

All shifts available. As a CNA, you will support residents with daily living activities, assist with mobility, document care, and collaborate with nurses to deliver high-quality care

Qualifications

• Active Florida CNA license required.
• Compassionate, patient-centered caregiving.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Prior long-term care experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with professionalism and empathy.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, dining, and daily living activities.
• Aid mobility, transfers, and repositioning for comfort and dignity.
• Maintain a clean, safe, supportive resident environment.
• Document resident care and progress to support quality care.
• Respond promptly to resident needs and requests.
• Collaborate with nurses and the care team to deliver outstanding care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate daily care including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, dining, and other activities of daily living
• Assist residents safely with mobility, transfers, and repositioning to ensure comfort and dignity
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment for residents and staff
• Accurately document resident care, observations, and progress to support quality care and communication
• Respond promptly and professionally to resident needs and requests
• Work collaboratively with nurses and the healthcare team to deliver outstanding resident care

Qualifications:

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Florida
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to caregiving
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Prior nursing home or long-term care experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and empathy
