Job summary

All Ways Caring HomeCare is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our dedicated team serving HUDERT, JACKSONVILLE, and SWANSBORO in North Carolina. The role offers pay between USD 13.00 and USD 16.00 per hour, with flexible home health assignments and opportunities to provide essential patient care in diverse settings.

As a CNA, you will support nurses with routine care, assist patients with daily activities, monitor vitals, and help maintain comfort and safety at home.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
• Certification as CNA/Home Health Aide in the state of practice.
• Completion of a recognized home care aide training program or 6 months of recent experience as an aide.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and assist with transfers and mobility.

Responsibilities

• Assist nurses with basic care activities essential to patient comfort and personal needs.
• Dresses, grooms, bathes, feeds, and records vital signs.
• Answer call lights, assist with toileting, oral care, nail care, and catheter care.
• Provide simple/uncomplicated patient care within Standards of Practice for CNAs.
• Clean rooms and change bed linen; maintain clean, safe patient environment.
• Record temperature, pulse, respiration, and notify nurse of changes.
• Administer medications as directed by physician or nurse, with proper documentation.
• Other duties as assigned by supervising staff.

External Job Description

• Assists nurses by performing various basic care activities related to services essential to caring for the personal needs and comfort of patient

• Requires certification as a Nurse Assistant; functions may not exceed Standards of Practice as accorded by certification
• Provides simple or uncomplicated patient care
• Cleans room and changes bed linen
• Takes and records temperature, pulse, and respiration rate
• Gives medication as directed by Physician or Nurse and makes notation of amount and time given
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum age requirements is 18 years
• Valid driver's license, with satisfactory driving record, as defined by agency policy
• Certification, if required by state licensure as a CNA or Home Health Care Aide in the state in which the aide is to provide care
• Completion of a recognized home care aide training program or 6 months of recent experience as an aide
• Must be able to utilize proper body mechanics while lifting and may be expected to lift up 75 lbs.; must be able to sit, stand, and walk for periods of time and bend, stoop, push, pull, and reach
