Job summary
Visiting Angels of Jackson is seeking a Professional Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA to join our in-home care team serving Jackson, Richland, Pearl, and surrounding areas. We are an award-winning, locally owned agency celebrated for caring about caregivers and clients.
As a CNA you will help with personal care, medication reminders, light chores, meal preparation, and companionship, with duties that can include outings and supporting independence in familiar surroundings.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred.
- Compassionate, reliable, and able to work independently.
- Strong communication and listening skills.
Responsibilities
- Help with personal care and bathing.
- Reminders to stick to medication schedules.
- Vacuuming, laundry, and light chores.
- Planning a healthy diet and cooking meals.
- Going on outings and running errands.
- Keeping seniors company in a joyful manner.
- Being emotionally supportive and a good listener.
