Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our daytime, full-time team in Tennessee. You will provide daily nursing care and support to residents, including bathing, feeding, grooming, and toileting, while following all standards and regulations.

You will work with an interdisciplinary team to deliver quality patient care and maintain a positive, professional work environment. State certification and CPR are required or obtained during orientation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of a State-approved CNA program.
• Active CNA license in good standing in the applicable state.
• CPR certification required at hire or during orientation.
• 1 year skilled nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care to assigned patients.
• Assist with bathing, feeding, grooming, toileting.
• Deliver care in accordance with Life Care standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and maintain professional relationships.

As an important member of our interdisciplinary team, the CNA is responsible for providing routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. Your daily responsibilities will be to deliver direct care to patients (bathing, feeding, grooming, toileting, etc.) as directed. Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of a State-approved CNA program
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
• One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred
• CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.
