Job summary

Greenway Health and Rehabilitation Center in Grand Bay, AL is seeking compassionate CNAs to join our team. You will work with nursing staff to assist residents with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and support comfort and well-being.

Active Alabama CNA certification required; experience in long-term care preferred. Weekend and holiday availability encouraged to ensure continuous care.

Qualifications

• Active Alabama CNA certification required.
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing or rehab preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct professional care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living.
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers and exercise programs.
• Measure and record vital signs, weight and other health indicators.
• Observe residents' condition and report concerns to supervisors.
• Support residents' nutritional needs by assisting with meals and hydration.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment, including making beds and changing linens.
• Assist with admissions, discharges and transfers while ensuring comfort.
• Document care provided accurately in medical records and charts.
• Communicate effectively with residents, facilities and team members.
• Respond promptly to resident call lights and urgent needs.

Skills

Greenway Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our growing team in Grand Bay, Alabama. In this role, you will work closely with our nursing staff to provide excellent care to our residents, assisting with daily activities, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring their comfort and well-being.

CNA Requirements

• Active CNA Certification in Alabama
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehab preferred
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

CNA Responsibilities
