Job summary

Axiom Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team and support residents in daily living activities. You will assist with bathing, grooming, feeding and mobility, while documenting care and monitoring vital signs in a HIPAA-compliant environment.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification required by state law.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Long term care experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and assist residents with mobility needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing).
• Serve meals, assist with feeding, provide water between meals.
• Support residents with mobility including ambulating, turning, and positioning.
• Monitor and document vital signs, weight, intake and output.
• Ensure resident comfort and respond to call lights and requests.
• Report changes in resident condition to the nursing supervisor.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and observations.
• Uphold resident privacy and dignity per HIPAA and facility standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), including bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing
• Serve meals, assist with feeding, and provide water and nourishment between meals
• Support residents with mobility, including ambulating, turning, and positioning
• Monitor and document vital signs, weight, intake, and output
• Ensure resident comfort and respond promptly to call lights and requests
• Report changes in resident condition to the nursing supervisor
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and resident observations
• Uphold resident privacy and dignity in accordance with HIPAA and facility standards
• Comply with all federal, state, and facility regulations and guidelines
• Stay current through educational opportunities and maintaining CNA certification
• Perform other duties as assigned
