Job summary

Visiting Angels Fayetteville NC seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate in-home care across the Fayetteville area. The role focuses on helping seniors remain independent while receiving essential daily support.

You will assist with daily activities, monitor well-being, support mobility, and help with medications and errands while maintaining safety and dignity for clients. A strong sense of empathy and reliability is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with prescribed medications as directed by caregivers or supervisors.
• Aid with ambulation and mobility around the home and accompany clients on appointments.
• Support personal care and hygiene routines for clients.
• Assist with daily exercises and mobility activities.
• Plan and assist with meals, and assist with grocery shopping if needed.
• Provide companionship and monitor client well-being.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe home environment.
• Report any unusual incidents and changes to the supervising team.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergency situations.

Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
