American Senior Communities is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Columbia Healthcare Center in Evansville, Indiana. The role includes day or night shifts on 12-hour schedules, every other weekend, and no on-call requirements.

You will assist residents with daily activities, mobility, and provide companionship while collaborating with the nursing team to ensure safe, compassionate care. Ideal candidates hold Indiana CNA certification, demonstrate C.A.R.E.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid and current CNA certification in Indiana.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending and assisting with mobility.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Opportunity at Columbia Healthcare Center – 12-Hour Shifts | Day Shift or Night Shift | Every Other Weekend | No On-Call

Certified Nursing Assistants play a vital role in fostering a warm and supportive environment where the resident’s well-being is prioritized. CNAs work alongside the nursing team to assist residents with daily care needs while providing companionship, reassurance and support.

In This Role

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal care and mobility.
• Help with lifting, positioning and transferring residents as needed.
• Observe residents and communicate changes or concerns to the nursing team.
• Provide companionship and reassurance to residents.
• Work with nursing and other facility teams to provide coordinated care.
• Help maintain a safe, respectful and comfortable environment for residents.

Requirements

• Valid and current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Indiana.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and assisting with resident mobility.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
