Eskridge Care Center in Eskridge, KS, is hiring a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our clinical team. The role supports residents with ADLs, provides compassionate care, and participates in a dynamic team environment.

We offer a competitive hourly salary of $21.00 to $24.78 with a $250 sign-on bonus and referral bonus, plus comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, disability, FSA, 401(k), PTO, life insurance, CEU reimbursement, and daily pay options.

Qualifications

• Completed a state approved Nurse Aide Training Program.
• Current Kansas certification/registration to practice.
• Current CPR certification

• Desire to work with the elderly
• Experience in a geriatric nursing facility is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide total care for residents including ADLs as defined by resident plan of care/CNA assignment card.
• Record temperature, pulse, respiration and weight; perform range of motion as needed.
• Observe and report changes in condition, attitude, appetite, and behavior; maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

• This rehabilitation nursing positionworks 12 hour shifts 6 pm to 6 am.

  • 3 day weekends every other weekend.

  • Never work more than 3 days in a row.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT (CNA)

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you play a vital role in our community. Without you, we would not be able to fulfill our purpose! You provide total care for our residents, starting with carefully assisting with providing activities of daily living (ADLs) to residents (including washing, bathing, dressing, feeding, grooming, walking, transferring, skin care, toileting, oral care and catheter care). You perform care as defined by resident plan of care/CNA assignment card. You visit with residents and reposition as required.

With a close eye for detail, you record temperature, pulse, respiration, and weight. You also conduct range of motion as needed.

You take great care to observe and report any change in condition, attitude, reaction, appetite, and behavior that you find when caring for your residents. You live up to the trust of those in your care by maintaining confidentiality and following Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA) requirements as well as upholding our facility policies and procedures. Your warm and friendly demeanor makes it easy for you to provide excellent customer service and build relationships with residents, their families, visitors, and your colleagues. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT (CNA)

• Completed a state approved Nurse Aide Training Program.
