Job summary

Signature HealthCARE in Erin, Tennessee, is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care under licensed supervision. You will support ADLs, vital signs, transfers, and daily activities while maintaining a compassionate environment.

Qualifications

• Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from the state where the facility operates.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide ADLs within the scope of practice as defined by state regulations and the resident's plan of care.
• Change bed linen and maintain grooming supplies in resident rooms.
• Ambulate and transfer residents using appropriate devices and body mechanics.
• Record resident vital signs, weights, and measurements, intake/output, and food intake.
• Routinely turn and position residents.
• Support resident rights and choices within the care environment.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in duty areas.
• Promptly answer call lights and assist resident needs.
• Assist in orientation and training of other staff.
• Other special projects and duties as assigned.

How You Will Make a Difference

Perform direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel. Assist with promoting a compassionate physical and psychosocial environment for the residents in accordance with facility policies and procedures.

• Provide activities of daily living (ADLs) within the scope of practice as defined by state regulation and the resident’s plan of care.
• Change bed linen and maintain appropriate grooming supplies in resident room on a regular basis.
• Ambulate and transfer residents, utilizing appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics.
• Record resident vital signs, weights and measurements, intake and output, food consumption, and other information, as assigned.
• Routinely turn and position residents, as necessary.
• Recognize and support resident rights and choices within the care environment.
• Maintain established housekeeping standards within assigned duty areas.
• Promptly answer call lights and assist with resident needs.
• Assist in the orientation and training of other staff, as requested.
• Other special projects and duties, as assigned.

What You Need To Make a Difference
