Job summary

The Timbers Skilled Nursing & Therapy is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team and provide essential daily care to residents. The role emphasizes compassionate support with daily living activities, meals, hygiene, and mobility to ensure comfort and safety.

• Assist with daily living activities. Deliver meals with water and extra nourishment between meals.
• Help patients with personal hygiene including bedpans, baths, shampoos, showers, dressing, turning and mobility.
• Provide additional care such as ice packs, non-sterile dressings, and therapeutic baths.
• Check vital signs and record daily information in residents’ charts.

Responsibilities and Purpose

• Assist with daily living activities. You deliver meals to patients, providing plenty of fresh water and extra nourishment between meals.
• Help patients with personal hygiene. Provide patients with bedpans and help with baths, shampoos, and showers; dress, turn, and assist patients with mobility.
• Provide additional care for the patient, including ice packs, non-sterile dressings, and therapeutic baths.
• Check vital signs and record daily information in the residents’ chart.

Required Experience and Education

• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing or Long-term Care environment ispreferred.
