Job summary

Sapphire-Health- is seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant to support nursing staff and help patients with daily activities across hospitals, nursing homes, and rehabilitation centers.

You will monitor vitals, assist with mobility, and maintain cleanliness and infection control while communicating patient needs to the care team.

Qualifications

• CNA terminology and anatomy knowledge.
• Experience with geriatrics, hospice, and infectious disease care is desirable.
• Ability to work in a Level II Trauma Center environment with safety standards.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with patients and families.
• Familiarity with healthcare documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, eating).
• Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, blood pressure).
• Support patients with ICU or hospice needs.
• Help transport patients safely within the facility.
• Maintain infection control and a clean patient environment.
• Communicate patient status to families and healthcare team.
• Document care activities per medical protocols.
• Assist with mobility and lifting to ensure comfort and safety.

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to nursing staff and assist patients in their daily activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role is crucial in delivering high-quality patient care in various settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, and rehabilitation centers.

Duties

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
• Provide support in the care of patients with specific needs, including those in ICU or requiring hospice care.
• Help transport patients within the facility while ensuring their safety.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by following infection control protocols.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding patient status and needs.
• Document patient care activities accurately in accordance with medical protocols.
• Assist with mobility and lifting of patients as required to facilitate their comfort and safety.

• CNA Proficient understanding of medical terminology and anatomy knowledge to effectively communicate patient needs.
• CNA Experience or familiarity with geriatrics, infectious disease care, and hospice care is highly desirable.
• CNA Ability to work within a Level II Trauma Center environment while adhering to safety standards.
