Job summary

Saint Elizabeth Assisted Living in East Greenwich, RI is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team for day shifts. This role offers both full-time and part-time schedules with competitive pay.

Pay ranges from $19.44 to $23.64 per hour based on experience, with generous PTO, shift differentials, low resident-to-caregiver ratios, and comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage, as well as tuition reimbursement and 403B.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 3–6 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Graduate of a state approved nursing assistant training program and passed a state approved competency examination (written and skills) within 120 days of employment; name entered into state nurse aide registry.

Responsibilities

• Accurately perform and record vital signs, height and weight.
• Accurately calculate and record weight gain/loss and fluid intake/output.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
• Recognize abnormal changes in body functioning and report to a supervisor.
• Perform palliative and post-mortem care.
• Perform routine well-being rounds on each assigned resident.
• Supervise, assist or provide ADLs.
• Provide skin care and report changes to a licensed nurse.
• Use proper techniques to transfer and reposition residents.
• Provide timely, accurate and complete documentation and communication.
