Job summary

Ohio Living is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality daily nursing care in our Ohio facilities. This role supports care management, ADL assistance, and restorative procedures to enhance resident well-being.

You will help maintain each resident's Plan of Care, assist with hygiene, nutrition, safety, and comfort, and participate in care conferences and routine trainings. Shift flexibility includes day and night hours to meet patient needs.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) in good standing on the Ohio Department of Health Nurse Aide Registry required.
• Reading, writing, speaking and understanding English is required.
• On-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Care management and service delivery, providing daily resident care per nursing procedures and Plan of Care.
• Maintain the Plan of Care for residents and patients.
• Assist with ADLs: personal hygiene, elimination, comfort, nutrition and hydration.
• Assist with care of the dying resident and post-mortem care.
• Observe and report skin breakdown and pressure areas.
• Assist with nursing treatments as required.
• Provide daily rehabilitative/restorative procedures as needed.
• Create and maintain a warm, calm atmosphere in the unit; respond to calls promptly.
• Attend care conferences and departmental meetings; participate in training.
• Share observations to improve quality and efficiency of operations.
• All other duties as assigned.
