Job summary

Peterson Park Health Care Center in Chicago, IL, seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a weekend-only full-time role. Shifts available Fri/Sat/Sun 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm with competitive pay.

As a frontline caregiver, you will assist residents with activities of daily living, monitor condition changes, maintain a safe environment, and support the clinical team. Illinois CNA certification is required; prior CNA experience is preferred but training may be provided.

Qualifications

• Illinois CNA certificate or completion from an IL-accredited CNA training course.
• Prior CNA experience is preferable but training may be provided.
• Full-time weekend position requires CNA qualification.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and observe changes in condition.
• Maintain a safe environment and ensure resident comfort.
• Collaborate with clinical team to deliver high-quality care.
• Support shift handoffs and documentation as required.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an unencumbered State of Illinois Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA certificate, or certificate of completion from a State of Illinois Accredited Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA training course. Prior Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA experience is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA. you are the front line of the Clinical Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect at Peterson Park by performing Activities of Daily Living, observing changes in condition, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining education. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.
