Job summary

You will support residents with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and collaborate with nursing staff to deliver high-quality care. Virginia CNA certification is required; CPR preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Virginia CNA certification required.
• CNA certification must be in good standing with the Virginia Board of Nursing.
• CPR Healthcare Provider certification preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene).
• Assist with feeding and meal setup.
• Record vital signs, weights, and intake/output measurements.
• Provide incontinence care and preventive skin care.
• Turn and reposition residents per care plans.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition or behavior.
• Maintain accurate resident records.
• Keep rooms clean, safe, and organized.
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to deliver high-quality resident care.
