Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a qualified Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team and provide routine daily nursing care to patients. The CNA will perform direct patient care tasks such as bathing, feeding, grooming, and toileting in accordance with Life Care standards and regulations.

Education and licensure requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of a State-approved CNA program, and an active license in good standing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of a State-approved CNA program.
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable state with active license in good standing throughout employment.
• One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred.
• CPR certification upon hire or obtained during orientation; must remain current during employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
• Deliver direct care to patients (bathing, feeding, grooming, toileting, etc.) as directed.
• Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients.
• Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team.
