Job summary

Woodlands Senior Living in Maine is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to help residents with daily living activities and basic medical tasks. You will measure vitals, respond to call lights, and document care while ensuring safety and comfort.

• Assist with instrumental activities of daily living (phone use, light housekeeping, meal prep/service).
• Accurately measure blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration and weight.

What you will do as a Certified Nursing Assistant:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, etc.)
• Assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living (using telephone, light housekeeping, meal preparation/service, etc.)
• Accurately measure residents blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration and weight as assigned or indicated
• Respond to resident call lights promptly
• Observe, record and report any changes in resident status and abnormal signs and symptoms to the person in charge or their duly authorized practitioner
• Perform scheduled resident activities as assigned
• Accurately document care provisions or changes in resident statuses.

Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Must possess active and in good standing CNA certification from the State of Maine CNA Registry
• Must provide proof of immunization/immunity to MMR, Varicella and Influenza.
• Strong command of the English language with the ability to follow oral and written instructions with precision.
