Visiting Angels Boise, ID is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate in-home care for seniors in Boise and surrounding areas, including Caldwell, Nampa, and Meridian. The role focuses on companionship, mobility assistance, meal prep, and light housekeeping, with opportunities for advanced training.

The position offers various shift options (FT/PT, days/weekends), weekly pay, sign-on bonus, and opportunities for professional growth in dementia or Alzheimer’s care.

Qualifications

• CNA certification or equivalent training.
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.).
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help clients with routine exercises.
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able).
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop.
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own.
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion.
• Report any unusual incidents.
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
