Job summary

Alameda Care Center is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate personal care to residents on a 4/2 rotating shift schedule. Roles include assistance with daily living activities and mobility under nurse supervision.

Qualified applicants should have an active CNA certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, and be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with boosters. English reading/writing skills are required. Salary ranges from $20 to $23 per hour.

• Good physical health to lift/move residents as needed.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care for residents under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Assist with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, grooming, dining, and recreational activities.
• Maintain unit organization to ensure smooth operation.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Active CNA certification with a successful completion of a CNA program

• Good physical health to lift and move patients, and/or stand for long periods of time, with or without reasonable accommodation

Primary Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities

• Providing personal care for the residents under the supervision of a licensed and/or registered nurse
• Such care includes assistance with the activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, grooming, dining, recreational activities, and outings
• Organizational skills are required to keep the unit running smoothly
• Other duties as assigned

Pay Scale: $20 - $23 / Hour

Depending on a number of factors, including, but not limited to location, regularly scheduled work shift, knowledge, skills, experience, and expertise.
