Job summary

Signature HealthCARE in Bowling Green is hiring a Full-Time Certified Nursing Assistant to deliver direct resident care under supervision, assist with ADLs, and promote a compassionate environment aligned with our standards. You will assist with transfers, document vitals, and support resident rights while following facility policies.

We offer a $2,500 sign-on bonus paid over 26 pay periods and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, retirement options, and more.

Qualifications

• Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from state in which the facility operates.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team and under the direction of licensed nursing staff.
• Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Approachable, flexible, and adaptable to change.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel.
• Assist with promoting a compassionate physical and psychosocial environment for the residents in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
• Provide activities of daily living (ADLs) within the scope of practice as defined by state regulation and the resident’s plan of care.
• Change bed linen and maintain appropriate grooming supplies in resident room on a regular basis.
• Ambulate and transfer residents, utilizing appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics.
• Record resident vital signs, weights and measurements, intake and output, food consumption, and other information, as assigned.
• Routinely turn and position residents, as necessary.
• Recognize and support resident rights and choices within the care environment.
• Maintain established housekeeping standards within assigned duty areas.
• Promptly answer call lights and assist with resident needs.
• Assist in the orientation and training of other staff, as requested.
• Other special projects and duties, as assigned.
