Job summary

Topaz Fiscal Services is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team in Jacksonville, FL. Weekend shifts are available, 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am on Saturdays and Sundays. This role focuses on compassionate, hands-on resident care and teamwork with RNs, LPNs, and therapy staff.

Ideal candidates are 18+, have a state CNA license or active licensure, and are committed to residents' rights and safety. CPR certification is preferred and vaccination is required where applicable.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• A passion to care for the residents in our community.
• Certified in the state where applying or have active/current licensure.
• Available to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to patients/residents, ambulate residents, serve nourishments and between-meal-snacks, and provide personal care to patients/residents.
• Answer call lights and respond to questions, providing appropriate care.
• Treat residents with dignity and observe all residents' rights and confidentiality.
• Partner with Nurses (RNs and LPNs) and the Therapy Team to deliver personalized compassionate care.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living under the direction of a Nurse.
• Support nursing staff in providing resident care.
• Other duties as assigned.

How our CNAs make our facility Great:

• Provide personal care to patients/residents, ambulate residents, serve nourishments and between-meal-snacks, and provide personal care to patients/residents.
• Answer call lights and answer questions and respond, giving appropriate care.
• Treat residents with dignity and always observe all residents' rights and confidentiality.
• Partner with Nurses (RNs and LPNs) and the Therapy Team to deliver the highest level of Personalized Compassionate Care
• Assisting residents with activities of daily living under the direction and supervision of a Nurse
• Responsible for assisting nursing in providing resident care
• Other duties as assigned

CNA Qualifications:

• At least 18 years of age
• A passion to care for the residents in our community
• Certified in the state where applying or have active/current licensure
• Available to work weekends

License/Certification:

• CNA License (Preferred)
• CPR Certification (Preferred)
