Job summary

Valley Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will assist with daily living activities and maintain patient comfort under supervision of licensed staff.

Ideal candidates hold a Nevada CNA license, BCLS certification, and have completed an approved CNA program. You will participate in patient safety, charting, and teamwork with nursing staff to deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved Certified Nursing Assistant program and certification.

Job Description:

Responsible for performing patient care/service activities/procedures as outlined by the state board of nursing and within the Nevada Nurse Practice Act. Performs assigned duties under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.

Qualifications

Education: Completion of an approved Certified Nursing Assistant program and certification.

License/Certification: Current CNA license in the State of Nevada. Current BCLS certification.

Other: Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
