Job summary

Kindred Hospital Central Tampa is seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant to support professional nursing staff in delivering high-quality patient care in a long-term acute care setting in Tampa, FL.

You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor patient condition, and participate in routine care under RN supervision while maintaining a safe and respectful environment. A CNA certification and BLS are required, with a focus on teamwork and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Nursing Assistant Certification.
• BLS Certification.
• Minimum six months’ experience in acute or long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Provide general nursing care such as positioning, bathing, and assisting with activities of daily living.
• Support patient admission, transfer and discharge procedures and assist with patient belongings.
• Take vital signs and document measurements accurately.
• Respond to patient call lights and paging system promptly.
• Assist in routine treatment procedures under RN supervision.
• Maintain clean, comfortable patient rooms and assist with feeding.
