Job summary

Lafayette Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Florida is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to support residents with daily living activities, including feeding, hygiene, mobility, and hydration during their shift.

You will collaborate with nursing staff, document intake, ensure safety, and maintain resident privacy while following facility policies. A CNA license is required; one year of experience is preferred, and a signing bonus is available.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required or in process.
• 1 year of CNA experience preferred.
• Ability to assist with daily living activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist Residents with daily living activities, including feeding, hygiene, turning and ambulation.
• Provide fluids and nourishment meals during shift.
• Observe health issues and report to supervising nurse.
• Document Resident food and fluid intake.
• Assist with feeding and serving nutritional supplements.
• Make beds and keep living areas clean and tidy.
• Transport Residents within the facility.
• Assist nurses and other staff as needed.
• Adhere to facility policies and confidentiality requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist Residents with daily living activities, to include, delivering meals, turning and ambulating residents and providing plenty of fluids and nourishment meals throughout scheduled shift
• Help Residents with personal hygiene
• Observe Residents and report any health issues to the supervising nurse
• Document Resident food and fluid intake
• Assist Residents with feeding and serving nutritional supplements
• Making the Resident's beds and keeping their living areas clean and tidy
• Transport Residents within the facility
• Assist nurses and other staff as needed
• Adhere to professional standards and follow all facility policies and procedures
• Abide by all federal, state and local requirements and standards
• Maintain the confidentiality of all Residents and Facility data

Experience:

• CNA: 1 year (Preferred)
