What a day looks like as a Clinical Assistant
  • Escort patients to exam rooms, interview patients, measure vital signs, including weight, blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and document all information in patient’s chart.
  • Prepare patients for examination.
  • Keep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies, maintain instruments, prepare sterilization, as required.
  • Meet position requirements and perform essential functions.
  • Complete all mandatory training as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Demonstrate commitment to superior customer experience with a service-oriented attitude.
  • Collaborate with others to coordinate care, resolve concerns, and address the needs of patients, family members, physicians and employees.
  • Consider patient and employee safety.
  • Takes initiative to identify and eliminate risks.
