Job summary

Saint Luke’s Health System, Wright Memorial Hospital, is seeking a Part Time CNA to provide direct and indirect patient care. You will assist the Registered Nurse with daily tasks and deliver basic patient care including bathing, hygiene, feeding, and mobility.

A strong focus on patient safety and satisfaction is essential. Requirements include CNA certification with BLS preferred; experience less than 1 year is acceptable, and Fundamentals of Nursing may substitute for CNA in some cases.

Qualifications

• CNA required; Fundamentals of Nursing in lieu of CNA BLS preferred.
• Applicable Experience: Less than 1 year
• Basic Life Support from American Heart Association or Red Cross

Responsibilities

• Perform direct and indirect patient care tasks as delegated by the Registered Nurse.
• Provide basic patient cares such as bathing, hygiene, toileting, nutrition, feeding, hydration, ambulation and positioning.
• Support patient safety and satisfaction by regular rounds and effective communication with the care team.
