Job summary

Goldwater Care in Illinois is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants for 2nd and 3rd shift positions. We offer both full-time and part-time roles with incremental hourly wage increases based on years of CNA experience, from 1 year to 6+ years.

Each CNA will provide resident care, assist with activities of daily living, monitor vital signs, document care, and ensure safety and compliance with state requirements. CPR certification is required and candidates must be 18+.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with the laws of the state of practice.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Must be able to work 12 hours a shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance in personal hygiene by giving bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves; assisting with travel to the bathroom; helping with showers and baths.
• Maintain resident stability by checking vital signs and weight; recording intake and output information.
• Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Adhere to professional standards, company policies and procedures, and all federal, state, and local requirements, including JCAHO standards, when applicable.
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; participating in professional organizations; and maintaining licensure.

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for providing resident care and support in all activities of daily living and ensures the health, welfare and safety of all residents.
