Job summary

Especially Kidz is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants to join our pediatric care team in Shelbyville, Indiana. CNAs work under a licensed nurse to perform basic nursing tasks and assist residents with daily living activities per the care plan.

The ideal candidate will be CNA-certified or in a state-approved CNA training program, with patience, emotional health, and the ability to stand, bend and lift as needed. Annual wage scale is $36,400–$60,320.

Qualifications

• Must hold CNA certification or be enrolled in a state-approved CNA training program.
• Candidate should be patient, tactful and capable of extended periods of standing and lifting.
• Must follow care plans and document care accurately.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report changes in residents’ health to the Charge Nurse.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, skin care).
• Follow instructions and complete records under supervision.
• Document all care given and observations.
• Comply with Magnolia Health Systems guidelines for patient care.

Responsibilities

About You

The ideal candidate would have the following skills and experience:

• Must be Certified Nursing Assistant; or
• In a State recognized and approved training program to become a Certified Nursing Assistant.
• Should have patience and tact in dealing with anyone at the facility.
• Must display good emotional health and be capable of extended periods of standing, bending and heavy lifting.
