Job summary

Legend Senior Living is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our nursing team on 2nd and 3rd shifts. You will assist residents with activities of daily living, monitor comfort, and document care activities.

This role supports a high standard of care within a supportive team environment. We value people who provide compassionate, patient-centered care and communicate clearly with staff and residents.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant required by state regulations
• Compassionate caregiving and patient relations
• Ability to work effectively in 2nd or 3rd shift

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (personal care, grooming, hygiene, meals)
• Monitor residents’ comfort and respond to needs
• Document shift tasks, resident records and service agreements
• Communicate urgent needs and concerns clearly to Health Care Director
• Manage assigned tasks within scheduled shift

JOB HIGHLIGHTS

We are looking for outstanding individuals to join the nursing team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.). You will make a difference in the lives of residents by assisting them with their activities of daily living.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the daily care of the residents, including: Personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundering, social interactions, and meals.
• Monitoring the resident’s physical and emotional comfort and responding as needed
• Documenting completed tasks such as: Daily shift report, resident records and negotiated service agreement
• Confidentially communicating clearly to other staff, such as: Urgent needs for the next shift and all concerns to the Health Care Director
• Demonstrating the ability to manage assigned tasks within the scheduled shift
