Job summary

Primrose Retirement Communities is recruiting a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide basic care to residents and assist with daily living activities, including hygiene, dressing, and meal services.

The CNA will collaborate with the nursing team, support residents’ well-being, and participate in social–recreational activities. Weekend and 12-hour shift availability is required, with full-time or part-time opportunities in a supportive community.

Qualifications

• Experience in long-term care or assisted living environments preferred.
• Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) or State Trained Nursing Assistant as required by state regulations.
• CPR/First Aid certification maintained per state regulations.
• Knowledge of Alzheimer’s disease and related memory impairments preferred.
• Demonstrates ability to work as a team.
• Able to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis.
• Able to work 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic care to residents and assist with daily living activities (hygiene, dressing, mobility).
• Support nursing department and other departments to promote residents’ physical, mental, and psycho-social well-being.

Primrose Retirement Communities is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to be responsible for providing basic care to residents and assisting them in daily living activities. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) must possess excellent people skills and the ability to be compassionate and enjoy helping others. The CNA provides care to residents which may include personal hygiene, dressing, housekeeping, laundry, social-recreational activities, meal services and other duties and services as assigned within the community. The CNA collaborates and assists in supporting the entire nursing department, other departments, medical professionals, consultants, residents and families in an efficient and economic manner to enable each resident to attain or maintain the highest practical physical, mental, and psycho-social well-being.

What we're looking for:

• Experience in long-term care or assisted living environment is preferred.
• Current certification as a Nursing Assistant or State Trained Nursing Assistant dependent upon state regulations
• Maintain CPR/First Aid certification per state regulations.
