Job summary

Aperion Care is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support residents with daily living activities, maintaining dignity and privacy in accordance with HIPAA and regulatory standards.

You will assist with hygiene, meals, mobility, and comfort, while documenting care activities and reporting observations to nursing supervisors. Training and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides essential care and support to residents, assisting with daily living activities such as hygiene, meals, mobility, and comfort. Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, documenting care activities, and reporting observations to nursing supervisors. CNAs ensure residents' privacy and dignity while adhering to HIPAA guidelines, professional standards, and regulatory requirements. They contribute to a safe and supportive environment, participate in educational opportunities to maintain certification, and perform other duties as assigned to ensure the health, welfare, and safety of residents.

Qualifications:

• An active Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) License or Certification in good standing.

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Willingness to take additional training or education, which specific states may require.

• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.

• Ability to be flexible and adaptable while handling multiple priorities.

• Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication.

• Competent in organizational and time management skills.

• Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Required to sit, stand, bend and walk regularly; lift and/or move up to 100

• Visual and auditory ability sufficient for written and verbal communication.

• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

• Must be able to perform duties throughout the scheduled shift.
