Mariner Healthcare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care on AM and PM shifts in a California facility. The role requires supervising nursing staff under RN/LPN direction, performing essential tasks such as vital signs, daily living assistance, hygiene, mobility, and monitoring resident status.
Strong communication in a team setting is essential. Minimum qualifications include a state-approved CNA program, passing the competency exam, and enrollment in the state
FUNCTION
Cares for residents under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse or a licensed practical/vocational nurse.

Minimum Qualifications:
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be able to express self adequately in written and oral communication and to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary care setting with residents, families and staff members.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers; calculate percentage of whole; measure in cubic centimeters (cc’s); measure in feet and inches. Ability to perform these operations using units of weight measurement, volume, length and height.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
