Job summary

Help at Home is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant in Mississippi to deliver hands-on care under RN/LPN supervision, promoting patient independence and dignity. You will document care and observations and coordinate with the supervising nurse and local team to ensure consistent, quality support for clients.

Ideal candidates are actively listed as Mississippi CNAs, 18 years or older, with reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Active Mississippi CNA listed on the MSDH registry (required).
• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (role may include client transportation).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, confidential, and respectful hands-on care under RN/LPN supervision.
• Support daily living activities and independence (personal care, mobility, meals, light housekeeping, transport).
• Accurately document care and observations each shift.
• Collaborate with supervising nurse and office team for quality care.

Schedules Available

• Day and evening shifts
• Monday–Friday options
• Weekends (rotating or as needed)

What you’ll do (under RN/LPN supervision and a written plan of care)

• Deliver safe, confidential, and respectful hands‑on care.
• Support daily living activities and independence (e.g., personal care, mobility, meal prep, light housekeeping, community engagement, and transportation to appointments as assigned).
• Accurately document care and observations each shift in a timely, complete manner.
• Collaborate with the supervising nurse and local office team to ensure quality care and service continuity.

What We’re Looking For

• Active Mississippi CNA listed on the Mississippi Nurse Aide Registry (MSDH) (required)
• Must be 18 years or older
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto liability insurance (role may include client transportation per care plan)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
