Job summary

All Ways Caring HomeCare seeks compassionate CNAs to assist patients at home in Hermiston, OR. You will support nurses with basic personal care, monitor vitals, and help with daily living activities in home health, hospice, or private duty settings.

Applicants must be 18+, hold CNA or Home Health Aide certification as required by state, and may need 6 months of experience. You will lift up to 75 lbs and follow care plans with dignity and privacy for clients.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record.
• Certification as CNA or Home Health Aide as required by state licensure.
• Completion of a recognized home care aide training program or 6 months of recent experience as an aide.
• Must be able to utilize proper body mechanics and may be required to lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist nurses by performing basic care activities for personal needs and comfort.
• Dresses, groomS, bathes, feeds, takes and records vital signs of patients.
• Answers call lights, assists in toileting, oral care, nail care, catheter care, assists patients in wheel chairs, transports, turns bedridden patients, reports patient changes, and takes out trash.
• Provides simple or uncomplicated patient care within Standards of Practice.
• Cleans room and changes bed linen.
• Takes and records temperature, pulse, and respiration rate.
• Gives medication as directed by physician or nurse and notes amount/time given.
• Other duties as assigned.
