Job summary

Vi Living is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Vi at The Glen in Glenview, IL. You will assist licensed staff with daily living activities and basic care for residents in a supportive, luxury environment.

This role requires CNAs with current state certification and experience; CPR/AED and First Aid are required. Expect comprehensive benefits, paid time off from day one, and opportunities for training and development.

Qualifications

• Must possess current state CNA certification and relevant experience.
• Experience working with geriatric clients preferred.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Current CPR/AED certifications required.
• Current First Aid certification required or willing to become First Aid certified.
• Food handler certification and CMA/CMT where required.
• Basic computer skills or ability to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed care staff with activities of daily living and related duties.
• Perform light housekeeping and dining/tray service tasks.
• Provide escort services and assist with mobility as needed.
• Record vital signs and weights and report changes.
• Participate in quality assessment and performance improvement activities.

Responsibilities

Certified Nursing Assistant CNA

As a CNA you will be responsible for assisting licensed care staff in performing a variety of clinical and technical tasks to assigned residents to include assisting with activities of daily living, light housekeeping, dining / tray services, escort services, performing vital signs and weights and other care related duties as assigned. As part of the care team, you will participate in quality assessment and performance improvement activities and notification of resident changes of condition as they occur.

Qualifications

• Qualified applicants are required to possess current state certification and experience is required.
• Prior experience working with geriatric clients is preferred.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• Current CPR/Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certifications are required.
• Current First Aid certification is required or must be willing and able to become First Aid certified.
• Food handlers certification and Certified Medical Technician/Certified Medication Aide certification, where required.
• Basic computer skills or ability to learn.
