Job summary

Ventura Services Florida in Hialeah, Florida is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants to join our vibrant skilled nursing facility. We have multiple shifts: 3:00pm-11:30pm and 11:00pm-7:30am, with full-time and part-time positions available.

As a CNA, you will provide direct resident care, assist with bathing, hygiene, turning, and meals, and report concerns to a nurse. You will work under supervision to ensure resident comfort and safety, maintaining documentation by shift end.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Florida CNA license.
• Experience in direct resident care is preferred.
• Ability to document care accurately and timely.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents including assistance with hygiene and bathroom needs.
• Turn, reposition and transfer residents safely.
• Assist with meals and feeding as needed.
• Report health concerns to nurse or supervisor.
• Follow safety rules at all times to prevent incidents.
• Complete shift documentation before end of shift.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities/Requirements:

• Must have an active Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License
• Gives direct care to residents, such, assisting residents to the bathroom, bedpan use, shower or bathe residents, maintain residents hygiene, change bedding, etc.
• Turn, reposition and move patients between wheelchairs, seats and beds
• Serve meals and help patients eat their food
• Listen to patients regarding any health concerns they might have and report details to a nurse or supervisor
• Practices safety rules at all times to prevent incidents
• Documents completely before the end of the shift
