Job summary

CoreCivic seeks Certified Nursing Assistants at our Florence, AZ facility to provide high-quality patient care under supervision of a licensed nurse.

Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, preparing patients for exams, assisting with procedures, and maintaining strict medical record confidentiality. CoreCivic is currently seeking Certified Nursing Assistants who have a passion for providing the highest quality care in an institutional setting. The Certified Nursing Assistant performs and assists with a variety of basic patient care activities under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse.

The incumbent should be able to perform all of the following functions at a pace and level of performance consistent with the job performance requirements

• Obtain, monitor, record and report vital signs and patient's condition as needed.
• Prepare patients for physical exams, procedures, and treatments.
• Assist nurses/ physician with physical exams, procedures, and treatments.
• Assist nurse with control and inventory of sharps, medical supplies, and equipment as required by established policies.
• Maintain absolute security and confidentiality of all medical records.
