Job summary

Advanced Care Center in Clearwater, FL is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants to provide compassionate daily living assistance in a long-term care setting. You will support meals, hygiene, vital signs, and essential patient care while collaborating with nurses and staff across shifts.

Role offers diverse shifts (8-hour) across day, evening, overnight times with weekend availability. Acknowledges sign-on bonuses and benefits after 60 days; growth opportunities and a supportive team environment

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED is required.
Completion of a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant training course.
Basic computer skills are required.
Good communication skills with empathy (bedside manner) preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with daily living activities including delivering meals, turning, ambulating and providing water and nutrition.
Help patients with personal hygiene and baths, bedpans, and showers.
Provide adjunct care such as ice packs, non-sterile dressings, and therapeutic baths.
Check vital signs and record information in patient charts.
Assist nurses and other staff as needed.
Work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and effectively.
Maintain composure under pressure in critical situations.

Job description

Pay: Up to $23.00, Weekly Pay

Sign-On Bonus: Up to $2,400

Job Type: Full-time, Part-time

CNA Responsibilities

Certified Nursing Assistants assist with daily living activities. This includes delivering meals to patients, turning, and ambulating patients and providing plenty of fresh water, as well as extra nourishment between meals
Help patients with personal hygiene. Provide patients with bedpans, help with baths, shampoos, and showers
Provide adjunct care for the patient, including ice packs, non-sterile dressings, and therapeutic baths
Check vital signs and record daily information in the patient's chart
Assist the nurses and other staff as needed
Ability to work as part of a team and to handle multiple tasks safely and effectively
High tolerance for working under pressure and handling critical situations with a cool head

CNA Requirements

High School diploma or GED
Completion of a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant training course
Basic computer skills
Good communication skills, including the ability to communicate sensitive information with empathy ("bedside manner")
