Job summary

PIH Health Downey Hospital is seeking a Certified Nurse Attendant to support patient care under supervision and help maintain smooth workflow in a busy acute care setting.

Required CA CNA certification and current BLS. Prior experience in an acute care facility is preferred; strong communication and basic computer skills are expected to ensure accurate documentation and safe patient environment. Infection control, patient assessment, and teamwork are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Must have California CNA certification.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Prior experience in an acute care facility preferred or formal hospital/in-service orientation.
• Evidence of continuing education where required.
