Job summary

Trigg County Hospital Inc. is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to assist with daily patient care under the supervision of registered/licensed nurses.

Tasks include feeding, bathing, oral care, positioning, ambulation, and transporting, performed in accordance with hospital policy and safety standards. The role may involve basic monitoring of vital signs and input/output, while ensuring patient comfort and timely communication with the nursing team to address patient needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• CNA certification and BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with feeding, bathing, oral care, positioning and ambulation for patients.
• Transport patients as needed within the facility.
• Perform basic monitoring (temperature, pulse, respiration, BP, I&O) as directed.
• Maintain patient comfort and promptly inform RN/LPN of changes in condition.
• Follow hospital policies, procedures and legal compliance in all tasks.

Job description

Attends to patient's comfort and keeps nurse in charge of patient care informed of patient's needs and/or changes in condition.
