Job summary

Windcrest Nursing & Rehabilitation in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to assist residents with activities of daily living, promoting independence and dignity.

You will bathe, dress, transfer residents, respond to call lights, assist with feeding, and help maintain a safe, clean environment while following Residents' Rights and facility policies. Qualifications

• Understand and adhere to Residents' Rights guidelines and assure resident safety.

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living in order to

• Keep residents clean and dry by providing toileting or incontinent care
• Provide supportive, protective, and safe environments for residents
• Understand and adhere to the guidelines of “Residents Rights” and assure resident safety
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Current Nurse Aide certification in the state of Texas
• Must be in good standing on the Nurse Aide Registry in the state of Texas and Misconduct Registry
• Ability to understand, remember and carry out verbal and written instructions in English
• Ability to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with residents

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The ability to safely perform movements such as pushing,

pulling, lifting, bending, kneeling, and reaching up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable
