Job summary

Elara Caring in Oklahoma is seeking a Personal Care Attendant to deliver compassionate, in-home support to patients in Adair County. You’ll assist with daily living activities, monitor well‑being, and communicate changes to the Client Care Coordinator.

A CNA or HHA certification is preferred and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation is required. We offer onboarding, CEUs, and opportunities for advancement within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have excellent communication and compassionate attitude toward the care of the sick, elderly, and disabled.
• 1 year of experience as an attendant providing personal care services preferred.
• Certified Nurse Aide or Home Health Aide certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living as directed.
• Provide personal care tasks and monitor patient well‑being.

What is Required?

• Must be at least 18 years of age, or under 18 and be a high school graduate or enrolled in a vocational educational program
• 1 year of experience as an attendant providing personal care services preferred
• Certified Nurse Aide or Home Health Aide certification preferred
• Strong communication skills, ability to understand and carry out instructions, and sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick, the elderly, and the disabled
• Valid driver’s license and insurance
• Reliable transportation to perform job tasks

You will report to the Client Care Coordinator.
