Visiting Angels Magnolia is hiring a Certified Nurses Assistant (CNA) to serve clients in the North Houston area. You will provide essential in-home care, personal support, and companionship, following individual care plans.

We offer flexible schedules, advancement opportunities, and a supportive team environment. Pay ranges from $12.00 to $17.00 per hour with options for various shift lengths, including Full Time, Part Time, and PRN.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are required.
• Compassion, patience, and a desire to brighten clients’ days.

As a Visiting Angels Certified Nurses Assistant - CNA, you'll play a vital role in enriching the quality of life of clients and supporting their wellness in accordance with their custom care plans. This can include:

• Helping clients with personal care and hygiene


• Assisting clients with light physical exercise or walks


• Planning and preparing meals with clients


• Handling light housekeeping duties


• Reporting health changes or unusual incidents

• Responding quickly and responsibly in emergencies


• Accompanying and supervise clients during shopping trips


• Reminding clients to take prescription medications appropriately

Certified Nurses Assistant - CNA Job Requirements:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent


• Posses a Valid Drivers License, Car Insurance, and a Reliable Personal Vehicle to use to transport clients


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must


• Training in First Aid and emergency response is required (provided if needed)


• Have excellent time-management skills and can juggle multiple duties at once


• Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes at the times you're scheduled to provide care


• Feel confident in your physical endurance when it comes to things like carrying groceries and physically supporting a client


• Feel comfortable performing housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to applicable dietary constraints


• Are willing and able to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards (ex., background check)


• Bring compassion, understanding, and a desire to brighten the day of each client to the table
