Freeman Health System’s Stroke Unit (CMU) is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide basic nursing care under nurse supervision, in a full-time days schedule (36 hours/week).
Candidates must hold an active Missouri CNA license, complete unit competency within 120 days, pass Patient Care Orientation within 30 days, and maintain BLS for Healthcare Providers within 60 days; CPI training within 365 days.

The cardiac medical unit is a 35-bed department consisting of multidisciplinary teams of RNs, LPNs, nurse technicians, and ancillary staff. We work together to provide compassionate patient care for stroke and dialysis patients.
CMU serves Freeman and our community as the designated stroke floor to help maintain a Level II Stroke Accreditation.
We serve a population of hemodynamically stable neuro-medical and renal patients.
