Job summary

Bitterroot Health is seeking candidates for a CNA position in Montana. The CNA provides assistance with activities of daily living, helps with meals, feeding, ambulation, and positioning, and monitors vital signs and glucose while recording inputs and outputs.

Collaboration with the care team and participation in quality improvement are part of the role. Requirements include a Montana CNA license in good standing and BLS certification, with preferred High School diploma and EMR experience.

Qualifications

• Education: High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Licensure and Certifications: Current CNA license per State of Montana Regulations with certification in good standing, BLS.
• Job Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Computer Skills/EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living including serving meals, feeding patients, ambulation, turning and positioning.
• Maintain patient stability by checking vital signs, weight, glucose and recording intake/output.
• Collaborate with care team and communicate patient condition to ensure coordinated care.

Bitterroot Health is seeking candidates to fill a C.N.A. position. A certified nursing assistant provides assistance to the professional nursing staff providing care to patients with various acuity across the age spectrum. Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary and ambulating, turning, and positioning patients. Maintains patient stability by checking vital signs, weight, blood glucose and records intake and output information. Collaborates with ancillary staff and communicates with care team and co-workers regarding patient condition. Participates in quality and performance improvement projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: High School graduate or equivalent preferred
• Licensure and Certifications: Current CNA license per State of Montana Regulations with certification in good standing without disciplinary action or investigation. Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Job Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Computer Skills/EMR experience preferred.

Schedule: Full-time, 36 hours/week
